NEW Milton Town have appointed frontman Rob Woolner as club captain for the forthcoming campaign.
Woolner joined the Sydenhams Wessex One outfit at the beginning of last season and went on to notch 11 goals in 21 league appearances, helping the Linnets to a top-six finish.
Manager Callum Brooks told the club website: "Aside from Rob's goals, we relied a lot on his experience. We had quite a young squad last year and to have him leading the line was important for them.
"He has bought in to what we try to do so it made complete sense to give him the armband."
James Shering will continue his role as the club's vice-captain.
