BOSS Kevin Bond admits Cherries must find an instant cure for their recent bout of travel sickness as they prepare to hit the road to Rotherham.

Bond's charges have earned some temporary relief in their battle to avoid the drop after registering back-to-back home wins over Millwall and Tranmere.

But despite turning on the style at Dean Court, the two victories came hot on the heels of abject defeats at Blackpool and Northampton.

And Bond knows his players must buck the trend if the class of 2007 are to halt a run of five successive defeats at Millmoor since Cherries' last win at the venue 13 years ago.

"The last two home performances and results have been excellent," said Bond.

"Those wins have given us a bit of breathing space but it will only stay like that if we continue to pick up points and play well.

"In comparison, our last two away games were dreadful and we know we need a much better performance and must be prepared for what Rotherham will throw at us.

"We're playing a side below us so it's imperative that we don't let them pick up any points on us."

Bond, whose assistant Rob Newman saw the Millers climb off the foot of League One following their 2-0 win over Blackpool in midweek, added: "It was a great win against a good Blackpool side and Rotherham will know this is another must-win game.

"It's going to be tough and they gave us a good beating at home just after I had arrived here. They will think they've still got a chance of staying up so we've got to make sure we keep them down there."

Bond has no new injury worries ahead of the trip to South Yorkshire and is expected to name an unchanged squad.
