POOLE Pirates asset Darcy Ward is still waiting to learn his fate over a failed alcohol test in August and speedway fans are getting restless.
Ward, 22, was indefinitely suspended from all speedway by the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) on August 28, 2014, 11 days after failing the breathalyser.
The Aussie ace's frequently-postponed disciplinary hearing finally took place on January 30 with Ward understood to have been told he would receive a verdict by the end of the following week.
As much as I agree with alcohol/doping test in speedway.. I hope my boy @D_Dublu_racing comes through all good!

And with his future still hanging in the balance 18 days later, supporters of the shale sport are beginning to unite in their incredulity... well, most of them.
TWEET YOUR THOUGHTS ON DARCY WARD's WAIT TO @BmthEchoSport
@FIM_live You're treatment of Darcy Ward is barbaric. Let him know the verdict so he can move on with his career. #DarcyWardRightToWork
