CHERRIES boss Eddie Howe felt goalkeeper Ryan Allsop had benefited from his loan spell with Coventry City.

Allsop returned to Dean Court following the completion of his loan on Saturday and trained yesterday under the watchful eye of Cherries goalkeeper coach Neil Moss.

The stopper, who joined the Sky Blues at the start of the season, made 27 league and cup appearances for the club.

Howe told the Daily Echo: “I think it was a good loan for him. He experienced some highs and lows during his spell at Coventry.

“He played in front of some big crowds and was involved in their return to the Ricoh Arena.

“I think it was everything we had hoped it would be in terms of developing him and moving his game forward.

“We are thankful to Coventry for the experience they gave him and he now comes back with us.

“Our immediate thought process will be to see how he has developed to see in training where his game stands and then make the next decision in terms of where his career is.”
