HEAD coach Paul Dunne is urging Bournemouth to go back to basics as they bid to prevent leaders Hartpury College storming fortress Chapel Gate.

Lions will put their 100 per cent home record on the line on Saturday when National Two South big guns Hartpury visit Dorset (2.30pm).

Under the management of director of rugby Budge Pountney, Lions have made a promising start to the season, with four wins on their own patch propelling them into fourth position.

But coach Dunne is expecting a stern challenge against Hartpury as Lions attempt to bounce back following a 36-6 defeat at Canterbury last time out.

Dunne said: “The start we have had is better than I would have expected. We are unbeaten at home so, hopefully, we can keep that going.

“We have four or five really tough games coming up against the teams that are all around us in the league. Hartpury College, who are a very good side, are one of them. They are very well organised with lots of strengths but we are looking forward to it.

“We will be concentrating on the simple things in training and correcting the things we did wrong last Saturday.”
