CHRISTCHURCH boss Michael Cuffie wants more of the same from his team – even though they exited the FA Vase at the hands of Moneyfields last night.

Cuffie was torn between frustration and contentment as he watched Priory lay siege to the Moneys goal after they had conceded Jack Lee’s first-half opener.

Christchurch will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 first-round replay defeat when they host Wessex Premier rivals Folland Sports at Hurn Bridge on Saturday (3pm).

Cuffie said: “We just need to take our second-half performance into the Follands game. We should have beaten Moneyfields but paid for one mistake.

“It was the story of our season but it was difficult to be annoyed with the players. I seem to be saying the same thing week in, week out – maybe they need to tape it!

“We will get there though. We just need to learn from our mistakes and start taking some of the chances which are coming our way.”
