CHERRIES youth team coach Ross Embleton is understood to have become the latest casualty of the Dean Court job cuts.

Embleton, who joined Cherries in the summer from Spurs, was believed to have been told yesterday that the club were making him redundant.

He was drafted in to take charge of the club’s under-18s after Paul Groves and Shaun Brooks were promoted from the youth ranks to the first-team fold.

The Daily Echo understands another member of the youth department may also have fallen victim of the cull, while John Donoghue, who was appointed head of youth in the close season, also left the club recently.

Earlier this week, chairman Eddie Mitchell described as “restructuring” the club’s decision to shed a number of positions, with seven employees understood to have been made redundant.
