- Prime Minister Boris Johnson will address the nation in his latest Covid press conference at 5 pm. Mr Johnson will be joined by England’s chief medical officer Sir Chris Whitty and chief scientific adviser Sir Patrick Vallance. There is much speculation about what the Prime Minister will discuss during the announcement including the return of schools and the latest Omicron figures. The conference is due to begin at 5 pm. We will be following the conference and will be posting any updates on our live blog.
