Caffé Nero and THIS have joined forces to launch the Vegan Festive Feast Panini.

The panini is available across all 600+ of their sites now and will cost you £4.60.

Inside, you’ll find plant-based turkey, cranberry and port sauce and fresh spinach leaves.

Marcus Denison-Smith, Marketing Director at Caffé Nero, said: “Vegan food has become a core part of our menu and is now a key part of any new menu launch.

“Our Christmas vegan food is always hugely popular, and I think we’ve developed with THIS something which will really excite our vegan and non-vegan customers alike, and I can’t wait for everyone to try it.”

Andy Shovel, Co-Founder of THIS, said: “What we've created with Caffè Nero is possibly the lushest of all Christmas sandwiches. It’s taking a traditionally meaty classic and making it plant-based, but without compromising on flavour or texture.”

The news of the launch comes after a recent study from the University of Oxford showed that in the last decade, Britons have reduced their meat consumption by almost 20%.

THIS creates hyper-realistic plant-based meat using pea protein and vegetable fibres and is one of the nation’s favourite plant-based meat brands.

The Vegan Festive Feast Panini is available to buy now.
