GRAHAM Banks of Southbourne recognised Bournemouth taxi driver Don White and his Studebaker 1940 taxi with the FLY 94 registration plate parked outside Richmond Hill St Andrew's United Reformed Church in the picture sent in by Tony Bevan and printed on June 7.
As a child Graham knew Don as 'Touche White' and they lived on the same road, Runton Road, Parkstone.
The Studebaker was a beautiful car and Mr White would sometimes take Graham and several other children in the taxi to nearby Martin Road Primary School.
