RECOGNISE anyone in this photograph of pupils of the Convent of the Cross in Boscombe taken circa 1969 or the names; Yvonne Dufall, Beth Roe, Maria Hannifan, Leonie Cottell, Jacqui Jameson and Geraldine Zupan?
Mrs Yvonne Bush (nee Dufall) of Muscliffe is looking of past pupils who were born in 1953/54 and will be celebrating their 60th birthday this year. Some of the girls met up when they turned 40 and it would be nice to meet up again, and hopefully other former pupils might join them.
Yvonne was lucky enough to be accepted at the school that had only two classes per year, because she passed her 11-plus and was Catholic, others were fee paying and came from abroad. The school building in Parkwood Road is now the College of Chiropractic.
