Fancy a trip down memory lane? Today we're looking back at Christmas No 1s from years gone by.

From Mr Blobby to Bob The Builder, Queen to St Winifred's School Choir, here are some of the most memorable (and forgettable) songs from Christmas past.

Singles by X Factor winners have dominated the charts for a whopping seven out of the last 12 years.

But in 2009, Joe McElderry was pipped to the top spot by Rage Against The Machine with their song Killing In The Name.

And Queen were number one not once but twice with Bohemian Rhapsody in 1975 and again in 1991.

Here we take a look back at the Christmas number ones from 1952 to 2016.
