THUNDER storms will be making their presence known across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole by the end of the day. 

The warm weather that we have seen over the last few days will continue today with highs of up to 26C however, this will drop off as the storm hits.

Forecaster Bournemouth and Poole Weather has said that mist and low cloud will clear quickly at the start of the morning to reveal a warm and sunny day. 

As the day continues, the temperature will rise to highs of 23 to 26C and feel a little more humid towards the end of the day.

Bournemouth and Poole Weather said: "Tonight's thunderstorm risk is certainly there however even just 12-18 hours out there's significant model divergence. "

They have said that the storm tonight could be anything from dry to biblical. 

The weather will turn muggy as heavy and possibly thundery showers approach late evening.
