REPORTED crimes in rural areas throughout February include the theft of vouchers worth £200, shoplifting of meat to the value of £150 and a stolen post box.

Neighbourhood police officers have published a list of incidents that they have been made aware of this month.

From February 3 to February 23, the release details 16 reported crimes, including nine thefts, three cases of criminal damage and a burglary from a business.

Last week a theft of vouchers worth £200 from an address in Sixpenny Handley was reported to police.

Earlier in the month, there was a report meat to the value of £150 being shoplifted in the Sturminster Marshall area.

Anyone with information on any of the crimes, which are list on, is asked to contact Dorset Police on 101 and ask to speak to the neighbourhood policing team.
