POLICE arrested a woman in Wimborne following reports six people were assaulted.
Officers were called to the Olive Branch in East Borough at 3.15pm yesterday afternoon after a woman was acting aggressively towards staff.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said the woman was "refusing to leave".
They were later called to reports a woman was attacking someone in Wimborne Square.
When police arrived at the scene, the woman also reportedly attacked two officers.
According to an eyewitness, a crowd of people watched as the drama unfolded.
The Dorset Police spokesperson said a 44-year-old woman from Wimborne has been arrested on suspicion of six separate assaults.
They were unable to confirm the nature of the attacks or if anybody was injured.
