WINTER arrives on Monday as far as the lifting schedule for Poole’s two bridges is concerned.
The winter lifting schedule for Poole Bridge and the Twin Sails Bridge comes into operation and will remain in use until March 31 2013. It has fewer lifts than the summer schedule.
Variable message road signs in the area will be used to advise road users of the change in lifting times.
