MUSIC teacher Nancy Tomkins said: “This is a great community school and everybody pulls together. The students support each other and cheer each other on during shows.”

TIM Clark, Core Team Leader, has been at the school for nine years. He said: “We have fantastic students and a really good staff. “Pupils do their very best every single day.”

DAVE Whale has a daughter in Year 9. He said: “Carter was not our first choice but I am so glad my daughter camer here now. It is a proper community school and everyone cares about the children.”

PARENT Mark Tunley said: “This school has a calm atmosphere. The best thing for me is the teachers and how they get the best from each child. They go above and beyond their duties.”

YEAR 10 student Jacob Williams, 14, said: “We have a student council and we all get a say in what we would like to change at the school. I like it here and I have already taken maths GCSE and got a C.”

ALICE Hibbs, 15, a Year 11 student, said: “I like it because it is small. Every teacher knows you and they do their best to help you.

“We have revision lessons in the holidays .”
