POLICE have warned of possible delays as yacht builder Sunseeker moves two abnormal loads on Dorset’s roads today.
The company is moving a 5.1 metre wide fly bridge from Portland at 10.30am. It will travel along the A35, reaching the Bakers Arms around 11.30am, then down into Hamworthy and on to Poole Quay.
Soon after that movement is completed, Sunseeker will then move a 5.9 metre wide fly bridge mould from Holton Heath near Wareham, again past the Bakers Arms and down through Hamworthy.
Dorset Police said times could vary and the second movement was dependent on the completion of the first.
