MOTORISTS are being warned to expect delays on the A31 and A350 this morning after a two-vehicle collision closed the road.
The road was closed following the collision at the Roundhouse Roundabout on the A350 Poole Road at the junction with A31 Sturminster Marshall.
The A350 northbound was also closed.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said it was "gridlocked" at the Roundhouse Roundabout as there was no suitable diversion for HGV drivers.
Dorset Fire and Rescue and paramedics were also called to the scene to remove the roof of one of the vehicles and release one person, who was taken to hospital.
The road re opened around 8.15am although drivers should expect delays throughout the area.
