Hampshire Police want information after a local motorcyclist today died in a collision with an oncoming lorry on Lyndhurst Road in Brockenhurst.
The accident happened about half a mile south of the level crossing.
The rider was heading south at around 2.10pm.
The driver of the articulated lorry was shaken but uninjured.
The road was closed in both directions until around 6pm.
