A new hall has opened at a Bournemouth church.
Worshippers at Christ Church, in Westbourne, are pleased with their new hall complex worth £1,250,000.
More than 100 people turned out to view the six new rooms, separated over a couple of storeys.
Congregation member Roy Sharp said money for the build in Alumhurst Road had been collected over two years.
Mr Sharp said: “The new kitchen can cater for nearly 100 people. The hall is attached to the church. The one it’s replacing was well past its sell by date, and this can be hired out to the whole community.”
