SHE may be slightly older than the average Olly Murs fan but Jan Lawson is the envy of thousands of women and girls.

The Bournemouth mum-of-two spent the day with the X Factor star after appearing in a music video for his single Busy.

And this week Jan got the chance to see Olly in the flesh again after winning tickets to his sell-out concert at the BIC tonight.

Jan, 56, of King’s Park, applied to play the role of a nosy neighbour for the 70s style video and said she was delighted when she heard she had been chosen.

The video was filmed in a three-storey 70s house in Streatham, London.

Jan, who worked for Halifax in Boscombe for 25 years, said: “I played a nosy neighbour with a very down-trodden husband who I had to nag all the time.”

During filming Jan got the chance to chat to Olly about living in Bournemouth and her sons and also received a sign photograph which reads: ‘To Jan, Thanks for being on my video. Lots of Love Olly’.

She said: “He is a normal, down-to-earth, lovely bloke. He’s not at all pretentious and was like one of us..”

Jan, who often helps Bournemouth University’s media school as an extra for filming, said she has received many envious comments from fans.

“I went into the bank and was so pleased I told them I had just filmed the Olly Murs video. One girl in there proclaimed she was his biggest fan and was begging me to help her meet him. And my sons are really impressed.”

Busy was released last May but failed to make it as a big hit. Olly rose to fame after coming runner-up in the sixth series of the X Factor.

He has released two albums and had a string of number one hits.

He also fronted the X Factor spin-off show Xtra Factor with Caroline Flack.
