A MULTI-TALENTED robot wowed the crowds at a Bournemouth shopping centre on Saturday.
Titan, a seven-foot-tall animatronic robot, took to the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe to entertain shoppers.
Flanked by Storm Troopers and Darth Vadar of Star Wars fame, Titan sang songs, did impressions of celebrities and squirted the crowds – young and old – with water.
Those who were expecting a scary robot would have been surprised, as the machine did impressions of everyone from Bruce Forsyth to Victor Meldrew and picked up on individuals in the crowd.
The clever robot sang You Can Leave Your Hat On to a little girl wearing a cap, serenaded a woman with Lady in Red and mimicked Wayne’s World’s ‘extreme-close up’ scene with one photographer.
Spokesman for the centre, Lucy Thomas, said: “It’s a half-term event; it’s got a sci-fi feel to it.
“The reaction is mostly amazement, although there were a couple of kids that looked terrified!
“The interaction is fantastic with the crowd, they love him.”
Members of Dorset Troopers dressed up as Star Wars characters to collect donations for Julia’s House, to which the centre added £250.
Titan made three appearances during the day, drawing huge crowds of onlookers.
