POLICE want information after a cyclist was pushed off his bike and robbed in Bournemouth.
The 37-year-old was riding along St Albans Crescent in Charminster, at 7.40am on Wednesday.
The robber was around six feet tall and of a large build, perhaps weighing around 16 or 17 stone.
He stole the victim’s black bag, which was similar to a laptop bag, and which contained a mobile phone and cash.
He was wearing a fluorescent jacket and a chequered hat with ear flaps.
Police Constable Lee Harrison, of Bournemouth police, said: “The victim is fortunate not to have been hurt.
“The offender is believed to have fled along the back alley behind Crescent Motorcycles or along St Albans Road.
“Anyone who witnessed this robbery, and anyone with any information about the man responsible, is urged to contact Dorset Police as soon as possible.”
