POLICE are trying to trace the owners of a haul of car badges which have been seized by officers in Verwood.
Around 30 badges were recovered in the town and officers are keen to find out who they belong to.
PC Andy Robertson, of the Verwood Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I believe the badges were removed from vehicles between 4 January and 6 January 2012.
“Anyone who has had a badge removed from their vehicle in the Verwood area recently should contact the police as soon as possible.”
A 19-year-old man, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, all from the local area, are helping police with their enquiries.
Anyone who believes their property may be in this collection should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting crime number C:12:D:748.
