CANINE Partners, a charity which provides specially trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities, is calling on people to organise a bluebell walk in their area.
The Bluebell Walk Campaign, now in its ninth year, has raised more than £100,000 for Canine Partners.
Walks can cover any distance and organisers will be provided with a free information pack.
Isabel Campbell of Canine Partners said: “Last year there were 24 walks in 10 counties, so our aim in 2012 is to expand that as far as possible – ideally having at least one walk in every county.
“A bluebell walk is a great day out for all the family and many organisers tie them in with a BBQ, pub lunch, garden party, afternoon tea and other such great ideas.”
