A woman received a minor injury after being robbed of her handbag on a Poole estate.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with any information to come forward after the incident which took place in the Waterloo area.
Two offenders approached a 66-year-old woman and stole her black handbag before making off.
The incident took place on Marshal Road between 4.45pm and 5pm on Monday January 2. The woman, from Poole, received a minor injury.
The stolen medium sized black shoulder bag with a strap, and zipped top, contained cash, a bank card and a store card.
“This was a very distressing incident for the victim,” said Det Con Emma Hawkes, of Poole and Bournemouth CID.
“I would urge residents to keep an eye out for a black handbag that may have been discarded somewhere nearby.
“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, and anyone with any information about those responsible, to contact police as soon as possible.”
The two offenders were wearing dark clothing.
