WOOLLY wonder Shaun the Sheep is sure to get young fans flocking to his Bournemouth show.

The popular television sheep did a whistlestop tour yesterday of Linwood School, Pokesdown Community Primary School, Ferndown First School and Hillbourne School.

And Shaun, who was in town to promote Shaun’s Big Show – A Music and Dance Extravaganza at the Pavilion later this month - got a hero’s welcome from the schoolchildren.

The super-intelligent sheep has gained a big following with young fans and university students and has his own Facebook group.

Sarah Gwynne, BIC and Pavilion marketing officer, said: “The show is really popular. Shaun has a bit of a cult following.”

The show is at the Pavilion from Friday, March 25, to Sunday, March 27.

Performances are staged at 2pm and 7pm on Friday, 1pm and 4pm on Saturday and at 11am on the Sunday.

Tickets costing £14 for adults and £12 for children are available from the Ticketline on 0844 576 3000 or visit bic.co.uk
