A WOMAN was arrested in Wimborne as part of a police crackdown on ticket touts ahead of the London 2012 Olympics.

The 36-year-old was arrested on suspicion of fraud as part of a series of dawn raids which also saw four arrests in London.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Operation Podium team made the arrests.

Detective Chief Inspector Nick Downing, in charge of Operation Podium, said: “Today's operation is about disrupting those organised criminal networks involved in illegally selling tickets.”
