A DAUGHTER has denied stabbing her elderly mother to death in Boscombe last year.
At Winchester Crown Court yesterday, Ecila Henderson, 39, pleaded not guilty to the murder of Rosemary Armstrong, 69.
Mrs Armstrong, a retired PE teacher from Salisbury, was discovered with multiple stab wounds in Queensland Road on August 25, 2010. Ms Henderson spoke only to confirm her name and enter her plea during the short hearing.
The case was adjourned for the preparation of psychiatric reports. A trial date was set for July 25.
