A SUSPECTED teenage tearaway filmed with friends during an attack on a Bournemouth shop worker has become embroiled in a heated Daily Echo online debate.

Following calls for the gang to be locked up or sent to boot camp, urmum1 said: “hahaha .. I was one of them n I don’t care if the police do catch me.

“Everything that everyone had written is fair enough if that had been what had actually happened. They sure are loving it as we are made to look like the bad guys. All they needed to do was ask could you leave my shop please.”

The girl insisted that shop staff had attacked them first “by pushing my friend into all the wines”, adding: “Our parents did not drag us up … we are a group of friends who stick up for each ova.

“I have never bullied anyone in ma life. Wat u see is a couple of scared girls.”

But her protests did not find favour with other Echo readers including stuarto, oxford who said: “No doubt the parents will blame the school, local council, the government, anyone but themselves.”

Adrian XX, Poole, said: “A short jail sentence is appropriate here. I doubt it will happen though”, while honest_paul, Bournemouth said: “You and your parents should be ashamed of yourselves.

“It’s about time we stopped being soft.

“They will no doubt just get away with it with a trip to a go-karting track or a kiss and cuddle from a local youth charity.”

Morrigan, Poole said: “Girls seem so much worse than lads these days. They all seem so aggressive and think it’s ‘hard’ to behave in an intimidating manner.”

yummyscrummymummy, Upton was in an unforgiving mood. She told the girl: “Grow up and get some respect you silly girl!” while Dorsetbaby, Poole, said: “Doing what you are and arguing with people on here really is not doing you any favours. “ TFan said: “As one of the girls involved has apparently seen fit to post here, I assume she and her friends will be making themselves known to the authorities so they can put their side of the story.”
