IMAX vanishes in the night” or “AFC Bournemouth sign Messi.”

These are just two of the headlines we think our readers would like to see and we’re asking you to come up with a few more.

Any great ideas will be used as part of the biggest public art event ever to hit the streets of Bournemouth.

Pride in Bournemouth will arrive this summer with the aim of attracting thousands of visitors to the town and raising huge sums of money for charity.

Now the Daily Echo is urging its readers to bring out their creative sides and get involved.

The event will see around 50 large, elaborately decorated lion sculptures displayed around the town.

Lions are being sponsored by organisations from across the area and decorated by local artists.

The Daily Echo has its very own lion – Headlion – and we want you to help us decorate him in a truly original style.

Headlion will be covered with the fantasy headlines our readers would like to see – and that’s where you come in.

We would like you to get your thinking caps on and give us your ideas to help him stand out from the crowd.

We hope to collect hundreds of fantasy headlines, which will then be handed over to our artist.

Wild in Art, organisers of Pride in Bournemouth, said they already had dozens of sponsors for the large lions.

A number of primary schools have also taken up the offer of mini lions to take part in the event.

Residents and visitors will be encouraged to follow a trail map around the town to view all the sculptures. They will be sold off at auction at the end of the summer to raise money for local charity Julia’s House and international charity the Born Free Foundation.

Wild in Art planned the event following the huge success of others in different towns and cities. They include Go Penguins in Liverpool and Elephant Parade in London.
