CIVIC chiefs look set to refuse plans to extend a Bournemouth preparatory school following objections from local residents.
Proposals by Talbot House school to transform a dwelling house in Frederica Road into a classroom, archives room, bursar’s office and head’s office will be discussed at next Monday’s council planning board meeting.
The application also includes plans to create an early year’s dry playing area and a canopy on the corner plot. Twelve letters of objection have been sent to the Town Hall citing concerns including traffic fears and potential parking problems.
In her report, planning officer Joscelyn Ratcliffe recommends refusing the scheme.
