FANCY yourself as a budding singer? Then why not join the Rock Choir?
The popular contemporary choir offers rock, pop, gospel and Motown singing to the general public and is coming to Christchurch next week.
There are no auditions and no previous singing experience is required, so this feel-good singing phenomenon is available to everyone.
Jenny Deacon, Bournemouth Rock Choir leader, said: “It is amazing that most people who come along for their free taster session don’t necessarily think they are very good singers at all.
“We firmly believe anyone can sing and the beautiful rich sound thirty or more people in Rock Choir can make after just a few weekly sessions is incredible.”
There will be two new Rock Choir’s opening next week and a free taster session is offered to anyone who would like to come along. The sessions will be on Tuesday evenings at Main Hall, Christchurch Infant School or Wednesday mornings at The Regent Centre.
