HEALTH chiefs will keep visitor restrictions in place at Poole Hospital until at least Sunday.
Restrictions are in place to combat the spread of the flu and winter sickness bugs circulating in the community.
A spokesman said two wards remain closed to new admissions, while the public are being advised to check with the ward before setting off to visit patients. These restrictions apply throughout the hospital, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
The spokesman said: “We are grateful to members of the public for their co-operation in this measure, which is necessary to prevent the spread of illness in the hospital.”
