POLICE are trying to trace the driver of a car which failed to stop after being involved in an accident in the Winton area of Bournemouth.
A 16-year-old girl was injured as she crossed the road at the junction of Wimborne Road and Brassey Road at 9.45 pm on Wednesday, November 24. The shocked teenager suffered facial injuries, cuts and bruises.
PC Charley Dunstan said: "I would like to speak to anyone who saw this collision and anyone with information about the vehicle involved which is believed to be small and a dark colour. I understand that a woman helped the victim and I would like to talk to her."
