THE Daily Echo’s nostalgic Snapshots of Bournemouth looks set to be the number one selling book in town this Christmas.
Copies are flying off the shelves at Waterstone’s in Castlepoint and manager David Lund said the popular book, already at the top of the chart, will be difficult to beat.
Jamie Oliver’s 30 Minute Meals is currently in second place with festive favourite Guinness World Records in third.
Snapshots, which celebrates the town’s bicentenary in scores of beautiful pictures, costs just £7.95 and is one of a number of local history books selling like hot cakes.
“There have been some really great new titles this year to mark Bournemouth’s 200th anniversary and we’re delighted that the Daily Echo’s latest book is currently our number one best seller,” said Mr Lund.
“It looks set to remain so right up to Christmas.”
* No, we didn't believe it either. But it's true!
