ABOUT 600 runners caught the Christmas spirit when they put on reindeer antlers and galloped around the tracks at Moors Valley Country Park to raise money for the RNLI.
Some took the invitation to wear fancy dress to heart, dressed in layers to protect against the bitter cold and ran as angels or cavemen.
RNLI spokesperson Alison Masters said the Reindeer Run, one of 13 around the country at the weekend, was on course to raise £15,000 for the organisation’s South West Lifeguard Appeal.
