A YEAR and a half after it screened at the London Film Festival, Rian Johnson's tale of shady dealings and double-crosses finally receives a limited theatrical release.

Ever since he was a child, Stephen (Mark Ruffalo) has contrived ways to get people to part with their money, often involving his younger brother Bloom (Adrien Brody) in his hare-brained schemes.

As adults, the siblings are experts of their craft, aided sometimes by Stephen's virtually mute girlfriend Bang Bang (Rinko Kikuchi).

When Stephen earmarks rich and beautiful Penelope (Rachel Weisz) as the mark for their next sting, romance unexpectedly complicates the underhand scheme, causing friction between the two brothers.
