A HORSE was rescued from a river in Ferndown on Tuesday night.
Crews and specialist animal rescue equipment were called to Moors River off Trent Way in the town around 6pm.
Specialist animal rescue appliances lifted the horse from the river where it was stuck around one metre from the bank.
The incident was over by 7.56pm.
