LONDON 2012 prospect Iain Weaver enhanced his reputation by claiming a silver medal at the European Championships in Moscow.
The 20-year-old from Ferndown, picked ahead of Britain’s reigning European champion Luke Campbell at 57kgs, missed out on the ultimate prize after losing his final 7-2 against German Denis Makarov yesterday.
Weaver's effort helped Team GB finish with three silver and two bronze medals - their best effort at the tournament since 1961.
