TEACHERS at Ferndown First School have hatched a plan to bring learning to life.
A live web cam is monitoring nine chicken eggs in their Church Road incubator, for the world to see.
So far four of the Well Summer birds have pecked their way to freedom.
Teacher Gary Smith said: “We believe we’re the first school to stream something like this.
“Now it’s a case of waiting until they’re fluffed up enough to hold.
“It’s really helped the children answer the question ‘How do we grow?’”
Screens across the school have helped all the pupils learn from this Reception base’s Mini-beasts topic.
The Parent Teachers Association funded the 21st century project, a twist on the traditional tadpole experiments.
