NUMEROUS emergency calls alerted fire fighters to a heath fire in Poole yesterday.
Around 50 square metres of gorse and heath land were alight between Dorset Way and Canford Way, and three appliances from Poole arrived within six minutes.
Police also attended to investigate as the cause was thought to be deliberate.
Crews used hose reel jets and beaters to put the blaze out, and left at 12.30pm.
