VEHICLES were abandoned on Henbury View Road in Corfe Mullen this morning because of the snow.
Police got calls about the impassable road at 7.28am and said they advised the highways authority that gritting is required.

At Winterborne Kingston, a Ford Focus left the road because of the weather at just after 5am and got lodged into a fence, opposite the Margaret Green Foundation Trust animal sanctuary at Lincoln Farm, close to the A31 junction.
The driver from Wareham was not injured.
Six millimetres of snow was causing slippery side roads in Blandford last night, and in other areas it was snowing heavily but police said many snow roads were turning to slush today, police said.
