WHEN Eleanor Jane Storey decided to change her middle name for charity, all manner of silly suggestions were thrown into the mix.

The 26-year-old promised faithfully that she would adopt the name pulled out of a hat, no matter what it was.

And she could easily have ended up with Fairy, Multi or Bedtime preceding her surname. Instead she will forever be reminded of a popular children’s film with her full name now Eleanor Toy Storey.

Eleanor, who works for Tasty Marketing at the Arts University College in Poole, has a formal deed poll certificate and her new name now graces all documents including her driving licence and bank account.

The former St Edward’s school pupil changed her name to raise money for Breast Cancer Care after a friend was diagnosed with the illness.

“I just asked people to pay £1 for each name in the hat and I raised £300,” she said. “I asked my three-year-old niece Philippa to pick a name because I know she can’t read so she couldn’t cheat.”

Eleanor said other suggestions included Knickerbocker and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
