A 39-YEAR-OLD woman was pulled to the ground and robbed of her handbag as she walked through Bournemouth late on Saturday October 24.

The incident happened as she walked along Christchurch Road, near the junction with Derby Road, between 11.55pm on Saturday and 12.05am on Sunday, 25 October 2009.

The victim was very shaken and suffered cuts and bruises to her arms and legs. She was treated at the scene.

Her handbag was later recovered, although a pink mobile phone worth £200 was missing.

The offender is black, aged between 20 and 30 years, between five feet nine inches and five feet ten inches tall, and of a slim build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a grey hooded top, with the hood up, a light coloured T-shirt, dark trousers and dark shoes.
