DETECTIVES investigating an alleged robbery at a Bournemouth building society have released an e-fit of a man they would like to talk to.

G4S Cash Services – employers of the cash in transit courier – is also offering a £5,000 reward for any information that leads to the conviction of the alleged offenders.

The incident, in which a courier was reportedly pushed to the ground and robbed by three men as he entered the Nationwide Building Society on Wimborne Road in Kinson, Bournemouth, happened at around 9.15pm on Wednesday October 14.

Detectives believe that a white Ford Transit van, with the registration number R892 BKP and red text that reads ‘Carpet Factory’ on its sides, may have been used by the alleged offenders and have released a picture of it.

No one was injured in the incident but a quantity of money was reportedly stolen.

On Monday October 19 a 48-year-old Boscombe man was arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released on bail.

And Thursday October 22, a 38-year-old Kinson man was arrested and has also been released on Police bail while enquiries continue.
