EVER walked down Bournemouth’s miles of beautiful beach and wondered exactly how it manages to stay so clean and clear?

Well, it’s through the tireless efforts of groups like the Marine Conservation Society, who are now looking for a Beach Cleaning Organiser to aid their sterling work in ensuring Bournemouth’s beaches remain pristine.

The new volunteer Beach Cleaning Organiser will be required to start a local group for beach cleaning and surveys in Bournemouth Bay and the general beach area.

The groups’ duties and responsibilities will include beach cleaning, sustainable fisheries, pollution and species protection.

There are no specific skills required for this position but applicants should have an interest in environmental matters.

The group will be able to operate any day of the week that they are available for as long as they can spare.
