A TWO-day beer festival in Wimborne opens on Friday (October 9) at the town’s Allendale Centre.
Live music and a large variety of beers and ciders is promised by organisers, the Wimborne Round Table, who organised a successful beer festival last year, where 4,000 pints were sold.
This year’s event runs between 6pm and 11pm on Friday and from midday to 11pm on Saturday (October 10), with Wimborne’s Beaucroft School for children with special needs and Poole Hospital’s Forest Holme palliative care unit set to benefit.
Admission costs £5 and includes a programme and souvenir beer glass. Tickets are available from the Wimborne TIC, Just B Inspired, and the Broadstone and Merley shops of the Oakley Village Butchers.
