PUPILS from New Milton Junior School stepped back in time to long before they were even born as they celebrated the 50th anniversary of their school.
Each year group dressed in the style of a different decade including fancy dress from the fifties, sixties, seventies and eighties, all had lessons as they would have in that era.
Head teacher John Crisp, who has been at the school for 22 years, said: “It was a lovely day and all the children had an amazing time.
“Over the years the school has grown quite considerably and our celebrations have been the culmination of our success over the years.
“We have a lovely sense of community spirit here, which we hope will long continue.”
